The saga between New York Attorney General Letitia James and former president Donald Trump continues to become interesting with every passing day. Trump, who was in New York on Wednesday to take part in the fraud trial took a jibe at his former team member Michael Cohen.
Trump walked out of the court on multiple occasions and addressed reporters. He even violated a gag order and was fined $10,000 by Judge Arthur Engoron. Trump has been fined $5,000 in the past. Donald attacked Cohen and asked to impeach his credibility.

According to Mediaite, Judge Engoron emphatically denied a defense motion for a directed verdict. This infuriated Trump who walked out of the court and even got his Secret Service people perplexed. Trump spoke to reporters and said “The witness just admitted that we won the trial and the judge should end this trial immediately. Thank you.”
Trump’s lawyers made the remarks, “The state’s key witness has just testified the defendant did not inflate his numbers.” Trump’s remarks were shot down by AG James, who had her own thoughts on Michael Cohen, his testimony and how it helps the case. She spoke about things in detail and had this to say about Trump and his people.
This has been a four year investigation, and there is mountains of evidence which basically corroborate the testimony of a number of witnesses.
It’s also important to know that Michael Cohen is not the main witness. His evidence has been corroborated by the mountains of evidence, enough evidence to fill the courtroom!
And so I look forward again to this trial continuing. And I look always, and I have, of course, I always look forward to justice. Thank you very much.
And let me also remind you that the judge has already made a decision with respect to the summary judgment. There is sufficient evidence to prove that, in fact, Mr. Trump, the Trump Organization and the other defendants committed widespread fraud!
