Last year, Mark Henry spoke about Lio Rush on Busted Open Radio, claiming he tried to help the young Superstar. According to the World’s Strongest Man, Rush brushed him off.
Over the past week, those comments were brought back into the light by Rush. Since then, tensions between the two men have only gotten worse, with Henry even threatening to sue Rush for slander.
Now, Rush has responded once again. On Twitter this morning, the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion said he could do the same, as Henry defamed him on Busted Open in 2019.
You probably mean(Defame)you have done that to yourself. Just own it and move on. This is the last time we communicate unless it’s for a apology. And by the way you’re welcome for me asking the company not to fire you a year ago. Tell your fans!@TheMarkHenry https://t.co/iPbuuP9U6T

Mark Henry fired back, claiming that he’d saved his job a year ago, calling WWE and asking them not to fire him. Lio Rush followed up, saying that he doesn’t owe Henry anything.

It doesn’t look like Mark Henry plans to respond to Lio Rush anymore. At least, not on social media. Hopefully, these two will be able to work things out at some point. For the time being, though, it doesn’t look likely. We’ll continue to update you on the situation as it progresses.
