Lita talks about what WWE planned for her feud with Chyna

Lita is a legend in the pro wrestling business and she has faced several wrestlers during her time as an in-ring competitor. This includes Chyna. It seems WWE wanted to do a better feud between her and Chyna.

Chyna and Lita squared off against each other at Judgement Day in 2001. On After The Bell, Lita talked about her feud with Chyna. She revealed that WWE wanted them to compete in two more matches. As they were under the impression they would wrestle more matches, they held back during their first match. However, it seems it was all for nought as Chyna left the company soon after.

“When Chyna was transitioning from working only men to starting to work with women, she first went to Ivory and Right to Censor into a program with me, and we had one PPV match together,” Lita explained. “It was supposed to be a three PPV program. It was solid.

“It was OK, but we wanted to give people just enough to go, ‘oh, there’s something here. We want to see more,’ and we held back thinking we were gonna have two more matches, but that was the end of her time at WWE. So we didn’t get our program. I’ve been told this advice before. Any opportunity you have, act like it’s your last match ever. Had I done that, we would have had a much more memorable match.”

Lita lost the match at Judgement Day. It certainly makes fans wonder how the feud would have gone had they competed in two more matches.
