The whole storyline between Rusev, Bobby Lashley and Lana was full of bizarre twists and turns and it received a mixed reaction from fans online.
One such unexpected twist in the saga was the involvement of Liv Morgan who interrupted the wedding of Lana and Bobby Lashley and professed her love for the Ravishing Russian.
During her recent interview with Fox Sports, Morgan opened up about being part of this storyline and she said that the whole thing was so crazy that she couldn’t say no to it:
“It was crazy enough that I couldn’t say no, you know, looking back, I’ve had mixed feelings on it, too. But, looking back on it, I just think everything happens for a reason, you know? And what we wanted to accomplish was to re-debut Liv in the biggest way possible. I definitely think that was accomplished. No one saw it coming. So, at the end of the day, I loved it and I’m grateful for it.”
The wedding segment took place during the December 30 episode of Raw last year. Liv Morgan ended up aligning herself with Rusev after being attacked by Lana during the segment and this feud ended the next month with Morgan scoring two consecutive victories over Lana.
