Live SmackDown Viewership, Ziggler Named Wrestler of the Year, Happy Holidays from WWE, More

– WWE posted the following Happy Holidays animated video:

– WWE stock was up 1.19% on Wednesday, closing at $11.02 per share. The high was $11.16 and the low was $10.79.

– Rolling Stone has named Dolph Ziggler their WWE Wrestler of the Year. They wrote:

“Despite his sideline as a stand-up comedian, Ziggler’s only real weakness may be commanding the crowd with a microphone in his hand, but that charisma could well evolve in 2015 as he strikes a balance between bestowed appeal and earned braggadocio. Nitpicks aside, no other sports entertainer reaching that large an audience over the past 300-plus days delivered so tirelessly and unselfishly, making everyone around him look better while blue-streaking his own prestige out of mushy midcard status. And for that, this former male cheerleader is our 2014 WWE Wrestler of the Year, and someone we’ll be rooting for as he enters the peak of his career.”

– Tuesday night’s live WWE Super SmackDown special on the USA Network drew 2,027,000 viewers. This is down from last Friday’s SmackDown on Syfy. That episode drew 2,531,000 viewers in the normal timeslot.

CM Punk should be looking at Ziggler at where he is at in the WWE because Dolph Ziggler is the perfect example of someone who has had the most up and down career in the WWE and you don’t see Ziggler leaving because he hasen’t had it his way the past 3 years , one minute the guy is World Champion and another minute he ain’t really doing nothing, now he is starting to get more feuds and rivalries again and also being notice, i do hope he becomes a main eventer in the next year or two he deserves it more then anybody, just work on your mic stills Ziggler lol.
