The YouTuber-turned-pro boxer Logan Paul’s former pig had been allegedly abandoned, which will infuriate WWE co-worker Alexa Bliss, whose pet pig died a year ago. It has come to light that it is now being cared for by the famous, Gentle Barn and he’s thanked the rescue organization for saving the animal. Paul has received major backlash for allegedly abandoning the animal.
The famous animal sanctuary in Santa Clarita, CA posted a TikTok Monday about rescuing a pig with ‘tattered ears’ and a potentially-life threatening infection who was found alone in a field next to a dead pig and it turns out the pig has a connection to Logan.
The pig, Pearl, was owned by Logan a few years ago and says he thought it was a “mini pig” when he bought her. The pig is now huge.
Logan sent an email, obtained by TMZ, to Gentle Barn, thanking them for caring for Pearl and explaining how the pig’s been rehomed a few times.
Logan says Pearl lived at his home in Encino until April 2020 when he moved to Puerto Rico. He says Pearl was rehomed to a horse ranch in Santa Clarita, where he thinks she lived for 10 months until being rehomed to the farm across the street “with the purpose of care.”
But when Gentle Barn found the pig, they say she had clearly been through more trauma than they could imagine. A source close to Logan tells TMZ … he was very upset to learn of Pearl’s condition and is truly grateful to Gentle Barn.
In his email, Logan says it’s “shocking and heartbreaking” to hear about Pearl’s condition … and he’s offering to help contribute to the pig’s care again.
Meanwhile, during an interview with TVInsider.com, WWE NXT star Grayson Waller was asked about a possible opponent for WWE Wrestlemania 39 and he wants to face ‘The Maverick.’
“There are a lot of options. I’m going to say, Logan Paul. I got to work with him a little bit. Me and Shawn [Michaels] got to work with him a bit before his fight with Roman Reigns. So many people are saying nice things about him when he has had two-and-a-half matches. I do this every day. Turn up every day, and then I’ll consider you a real wrestler. I’d love to expose that dude on the biggest stage of them all.”
