Logan Paul Spoils The Rock WrestleMania Match?

Logan Paul wants to headline WrestleMania 39 against The Rock.

“Dwayne ‘The Rock Johnson’ baby,” Paul said in an interview with SportBible about who he wants to wrestle in WWE, and he said he wants to defend the WWE title against a big name. “It has to be because we have so much history. We go way back and he’s larger than life man. I like taking on those types of personalities. So it has to be Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WrestleMania.”

The YouTube sensation Jake Paul recently faced the former UFC middleweight champion and combat sports icon, Anderson Silva, on October 29 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz. Paul dropped Silva in the final round to ensure victory over the UFC legend. Paul even looked lightly bruised in his first public outing, barely 24 hours after the bout as he attended the Phoenix Suns’ home win against the Houston Rockets.

Both men increased their offense in the final round and Paul scored the only knockdown of the fight by dropping Silva with a big right hand. The Brazilian recovered well and returned to his feet to walk Paul down, but he was eating jabs in the process. Silva refused to wilt and heard the final bell, but it wasn’t enough as the judges scored the contest 77-74, 78-73, 78-73 in Paul’s favour.

Jake Paul makes bold claims on Anderson Silva

Speaking on a recent episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Paul said:

“All my other fights were during COVID when no one had anything to do and anything to watch. I had to fight this year. I just had to get it f**king done. I’m sick and tired of waiting around.”

While estimating the pay-per-view buys, Paul also claimed that he lost a fortune trying to bring this event together:

“Not only did I make zero, but I lost millions of dollars just running a goddamn organization with fifty employees. I think it will probably go around 200-300k, which is kind of upsetting.”

According to a report by Total, with a base pay of $1.5 million and the lion’s share of pay-per-view buys at 65%, ‘The Problem Child’ is expected to receive a payout of around $5 million. However, the former UFC middleweight champion will earn $1.5 million from a base pay of 500K and 35% of pay-per-view sales.
