At the Royal Rumble, Daniel Bryan stunned the WWE Universe when former SmackDown Tag Team Champion and Bludgeon Brother Rowan interfered in the WWE Championship match, allowing Bryan to pin AJ Styles. Now, it looks like Rowan’s former tag partner, Luke Harper, could be returning to TV soon.
Back in January, it was revealed that Rowan had been cleared and was working out at the WWE Performance Center getting ready for his return, with Harper not far behind him. Now, PWInsider is reporting that the former Intercontinental Champion is heading back to the PC this week, meaning we may see him show up on SmackDown Live sooner rather than later.
If he does return, we may see him align with Daniel Bryan, just like Rowan. However, it’s also possible we could see him oppose his former partner, finally getting another shot at a single’s run. We’ll have to wait until his next SmackDown Live appearance to find out.
