Major Title Change at Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, Superstar Helps Paul Heyman

– Ryback debuted as the newest “Paul Heyman Guy” at last night’s WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view by helping Heyman defeat CM Punk.

– Daniel Bryan became the new WWE Champion by defeating Randy Orton cleanly in the main event of last night’s WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view.

its not like the Sting incident is the only time its happened. Jericho had his first title reigned voided due to a fast count from a referee for instance.
If you think of how many angles have been replicated over the years time and time again, this angle is not one thats been used that much, so its no big deal.
what was surprising is that the commentators, especially JBL, did not even mention it.

First thing I said to myself as soon as Armstrong came back into the ring is that Bryan would get stripped of the title due to him no longer being the right referee and then we saw the fast count, and I was almost certain he would be stripped.
Was kind of expecting HHH to come out there and then, but guess we will have to wait for Raw tonight.

Slowly setting the stage for Ryback vs. Lesnar?

He’s gonna be stripped of it on Raw because of the fast count. Duh. Boring. Are they gonna keep this up until Cena gets back?

Daniel Bryan will get strip in a rehash of Sting getting stripped of his WCW championship on Nitro and the title will be vacated and decided at the next PPV.

Defeated him cleanly? Clearly the reporter here didn’t see the blatant fast count that referee Scott Armstrong used.
