In 2022, the Toxic Attraction leader was released from her WWE contract. Mandy Rose had been one of NXT’s most essential members of the women’s division.
After winning the NXT Women’s Championship in 2021, she went on to reign for 413 days and make ten defenses of the title. After her discharge, rumors circulated that the business tried to fabricate a story about Rose.
According to Fightful’s report, Mandy Rose’s WWE contract was terminated because of the stuff she uploaded behind her premium content paywall. Fans were definitely taken aback when Rose revealed the title to Roxanne Perez on this week’s NXT.
It has been revealed that her father wasn’t overly thrilled with her choice to enter the ring. In 2015, Rose participated in the Tough Enough series, which also included Chelsea Green, the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
Following her departure from WWE in 2022, the former NXT Women’s Champion has mostly focused on her ventures outside of wrestling. Speaking in an interview with TMZ, Rose said:
“Listen, I do miss performing, I miss the camaraderie, I miss that adrenaline rush, for sure. I can’t sit here and say I don’t miss it. However, I am keeping myself super busy not to have to think about it as much. I don’t know about the future. I am a free agent now… If the right call comes around, and I feel like making an appearance and coming back to any wrestling federation out there, I’m not saying it’s a no, but right now I’m pretty busy. It has to be the right call.”
