In a recent interview on “Busted Open Radio,” WWE NXT Superstar Tiffany Stratton discussed being compared to some of the biggest names in women’s wrestling such as Mandy Rose and Trish Stratus. Stratton had competed in a three-way match against Indi Hartwell and Roxanne Perez for the NXT women’s title on Tuesday night, which unfortunately resulted in a loss.

Despite the loss, Stratton expressed her gratitude towards being compared to legendary names like Trish Stratus and Mandy Rose. She said that she considers it a massive compliment as both these women are phenomenal and have accomplished a lot in the wrestling industry. Stratton also went on to praise Mandy Rose, stating that she was fantastic and raised the bar when she made her way to NXT.

Tiffany Stratton also acknowledged the massive impact that Trish Stratus had on women’s wrestling. She remarked that Stratus was the one who put women’s wrestling on the map, and to be compared to her is a massive honor. Stratton concluded by saying that she always loves to hear such comparisons and takes it as a sign that she’s doing something right.

“I definitely feel like it’s a compliment, of course. Mandy Rose is beautiful and she was great and really elevated herself when she came down to NXT. That, right there, is one of the biggest compliments I think I could ever receive. Trish Stratus was the one who put women’s wrestling on the board. That’s a really big compliment. I always love to hear that.“
