Marty Jannetty is always a subject to controversy owing to everything he says on his posts on social media. For a couple of years, he required an operation for which he had no way to afford, but it seems he finally managed to have the operation recently.
Jannetty talked about his ankle issues over the past couple of years and how he required surgery for it. He had no way of affording the procedure and owing to his problematic lifestyle, people such as DDP did not approach him.
He recently made a post on Facebook, where he revealed that he had successful surgery for his ankle. He is now waiting for a second surgery after he heals from the first one.

Jannetty was in the news a couple of months ago when he seemingly admitted to murdering a man when he was a child. He then said it was part of a wrestling angle, but then went on to say he was forced to say it was a storyline so that the police would leave him alone.
