Ronda Rousey was not seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 35 back in 2019, where she dropped the RAW Women’s Title to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match which also had Charlotte Flair in the mix. Ronda Rousey also showed her backside in a photo with Becky Lynch previously as well.
Since then fans simply did not know whether the Rowdy One would ever return to WWE as they had lost all hope. However, their hope bore fruit in the end.
Rousey, who made her shocking and surprise return to the WWE at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble premium live event earned herself a shot at a WWE Women’s Championship match against the champion of her choosing at WWE WrestleMania 38.
The former RAW Women’s Champion ended up choosing Charlotte Flair as her opponent. She was also unable to defeat Charlotte Flair. She then defeated Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Title at WrestleMania Backlash. She then lost the title after Liv Morgan cashed in her Money In The Bank contract at the event.
While speaking with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Liv Morgan revealed that Rousey told her she deserved it.
