We noted before how Matt Hardy revealed a serious injury he has been dealing with and now it appears that the former Hardcore Champion is planning to make a transition to a backstage role.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported last week that the Broken One has been ‘shadowing’ WWE producers recently which hints at his future plans to transit into a backstage role.
Not only that but before the SummerSlam PPV, Hardy tweeted that it’s strange to be at the PPV in a ‘different capacity’ and then later posted this photo of himself in a suit:

While as of last week, there was no reason to believe that his in-ring career is definitely over, considering his recent tweets and injury reports, it’s very much possible that Matt is looking to take a backstage role in WWE now.
The latest update on his situation reveals that Matt Hardy is trying new rehab methods and we’ll get an idea about his in-ring future once the treatment is complete.
