Matt Hardy on differences between AEW and WWE

One of the biggest storylines in AEW is about the Exalted One. Evil Uno of The Dark Order has promised he will be appearing soon and fans have been speculating as to who it could be.

Matt Hardy spoke to PW Insider Elite audio, where he was asked about the differences between AEW and WWE. He gave two descriptions of the companies. WWE is quite corporate, while AEW is more open to creative ideas.

Matt Hardy thinks that AEW is catering a lot more to the “die-hard” fans than WWE is. To him, it makes sense because of how much more corporate WWE is, but he does think AEW is doing a better job of laying things in the table and succeeding in being unpredictable, such as with the Exalted One. To him, this is the most important thing in wrestling.

Hardy says that AEW is doing a good job pleasing both the casual and hardcore pro wrestling fans so far. We will have to see when he debuts in AEW.
