Matt Hardy talks about weekly segment idea rejected by WWE

Matt Hardy pitched many ideas to WWE, but those did not end up happening. He is no longer with WWE and is looking back at everything.

Hardy spoke to PW Insider Elite audio, Hardy revealed that WWE approved two more Broken specials in January, prior to his departure.

Matt Hardy talked about the various ideas he pitched to creative in his last year or so with WWE. He said that one of those ideas was a 15-minute segment where he called out the authority figures, and they would even ask him if he wanted to stay in the WWE or not.

His idea was to form a stable called the Broken Block with wrestlers who he felt were underused including Ali, Gable and Apollo Crews. He pointed out that he had no wish to be a champion, he just wanted to help out some other wrestlers and add variety to the show.

He will be making his AEW debut soon enough and it is likely the company will be more open to his ideas.
