Matt Hardy responded to a tweet from Private Party today and played at how we could be seeing AEW close in on yet another huge promotion merge.
Private Party tweeted Matt Hardy just hours ago: “Give us another chance.” they declared.
They then followed with an offer while also name-dropping some very noteworthy stars: “How about we beat
@TheLethalJay @TheJonGresham?”
Matt Hardy, without hesitation, tweeted back: “It would be a start.”
Matt Hardy then made an offer of his own closing the reply with: “Bring me the ROH Tag Titles & find out who Jay Lethal’s there to see.”
A fan responded to the thread stating: “**** it might as well add ROH to the partnership, AEW, TNA & NJPW are already in so why not ROH?”
With AEW currently teaming up with the likes of TNA and NJPW, it would only seem natural to add ROH to the list. The trifecta of big player mergers could very well be the check-mate needed to the state of WWE.
AEW continues to solidify themselves as a company to be taken very seriously. AEW have taken off and soared incredibly fast. Let’s hope the upward trend of momentum continues at a fast pace without a crash.
