While Matt Hardy has been away from ring and there have been all kinds of rumors and speculations about his wrestling career, the former World Champion has not announced his retirement officially yet.
During a recent interview on the Jim Ross Report podcast, the former TNA Star had said that he will never actually retire, indicating that he will take a behind the scene job when he can’t wrestle anymore.
And now the Attitude Era star is teasing returning to the WWE programming as soon as tonight for the special SmackDown 1000 episode.
Hardy made the following tweet yesterday saying that he has spent enough time with his family but the duty is calling and he will be back to work ‘tomorrow’:
I have TREASURED my time at home with my family, especially being here everyday for my boys..
But duty calls..
Back to work tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/98W7JFoqPm

While not confirmed this likely means that the Broken one will also be present at the upcoming show and the big question is if we can see a Team Extreme Reunion tonight?
