Matt Hardy’s first match following WWE departure revealed

Since his departure from WWE earlier this month, fans have been patiently waiting for the debut of Matt Hardy in All Elite Wrestling. However, for his first post-WWE match, Hardy will be competing for Independent promotion Northeast Wrestling, later this month.

As announced by Northeast Wrestling on Twitter, ‘The Broken One’ will be competing at the upcoming Wrestlefest 24 event which is scheduled for the 27th of March at the Waterbury Police Activity League in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Here is the announcement made by Northeast Wrestling:

Hardy has been strongly linked with a move to AEW and in another recent edition of his Free The Delete series on YouTube, the tag-team veteran was once again spotted alongside AEW stars The Young Bucks.

If the suggested rumors are to end up as correct, then Hardy could be revealed as ‘The Exalted One’ and the leader of The Dark Order faction.
