The #SpeakingOut movement saw several wrestlers being called out for sexual misconduct. Among the names, Matt Riddle was included. Riddle accused his accuser of being a stalker for years. He said that an order of protection was written, but never executed.
On a video of Riddle wrestling on Smackdown, a fan was ticked off by the fact Matt Riddle was still on WWE television. To that, another fan replied the following:
“Apparently Matt brought quite a bit of evidence to WWE that this woman’s been stalking him for some time, including making him change his number a couple times. And evidently theyve been aware of it since before he signed when they were initially scouting him.”
Candy Cartwright, who is the alleged victim of Riddle replied to the comment, where she provided evidence of her own. She posted a picture of her kissing Matt Riddle, claiming it was taken on May 19th, 2019 at 10:48 AM.
This is crazy. It’s been two weeks and I’m still getting hate messages/threats and seeing stuff like this. If I’ve been “stalking for years” then why is this from 2019? This was also taken after I went to see him on an nxt loop and he got me tickets to two shows…
Riddle is still featured on Smackdown, where he is currently involved in a feud with King Corbin. If true, this appears to be evidence against Riddle’s claim that she had been stalking him for two years. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
