Matt Riddle Claims Goldberg Is Not A ‘Legend’

The rocky relationship between Goldberg and Matt Riddle is well-known by fans and wrestlers alike. Now it seems Riddle has once again taken a shot at Goldberg on social media.

During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Gillberg made his return to the show when Goldberg was promoted for the Dirt Sheet. David Krumholtz came out as Drew McIntyre as well during the segment.

Riddle was aware Gillberg was in the building and it seems he took a photo with him. Riddle then took to Twitter and uploaded the photo of them together, while taking a shot at Goldberg. Riddle said that Gillberg is ten times the man Goldberg could ever be.

Real legends are your Bros and this stallion is 10 times the man Willy G could ever be!

Riddle recently supported Retribution in them wanting to ‘destroy’ Goldberg. Apart from that Riddle even called Goldberg “the worst wrestler in the business” at one time. The Original Bro also criticized Goldberg for being an unsafe and dangerous worker.

Riddle also spoke to BT Sport in December last year, where he claimed Goldberg could never beat him in a real fight.

“I think the only way I could get Goldberg in the ring with me if it was like he like gets to murder me and I have to let him do it. I would have to let him do it because he couldn’t do it in real life. So I think he would get into the ring with me if I promised to let him beat me up.”

“We could work it out either way. I would love to have a sweet match with him. I think I’m good enough where I would do it. I think [I could] redeem him completely. I don’t have to win – I’m not that guy. I’m all about the quality of the work. If we could make quality work and if you would be willing to listen to what I have to say – and I’ll listen to what you have to say but I think it could be magical and I think the fans would eat it up and they would because the guy really doesn’t like me and I really don’t like his work to be fair. From Universal Solider 3 and beyond, not a fan. But I get it, he’s got a guy has a presence just like I have a presence.”
