Matt Riddle is one of the top Superstars on Monday Night RAW and now it seems he will be sticking with the company for a long time.
According to a report by Fightful Select, Riddle has signed a new contract with WWE. It is said to be an extension.
It was not revealed how many years the contract is for, but it was signed the previous week. WWE desired to have Riddle re-sign with the company before the end of 2020.
WWE were hopeful that he’d sign before the calendar rolled over to 2020, and according to sources within WWE, that happened last week. Prior to the re-signing, his contract was set to expire in August after his initial contract that he signed in 2018.
It was also said that “Riddle was made an initial offer and didn’t seem too interested in renewing.” After this WWE made a better offer and got him to re-sign.
