After a few weeks of hyping his arrival to the blue brand, Matt Riddle’s debut on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX is being overshadowed by new allegations of sexual abuse as the #SpeakOut allegations continue to add wrestling offenders to the ever growing list of names.
Candy Cartwright claims Riddle choked her and pressured her to perform oral sex on him in a car in 2018.
(It should be noted that this episode was taped earlier this week in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center. WWE has announced that he would make his debut on this show but didn’t reveal who he would be wrestling.)
Reports indicate that Riddle is to receive a “big” introduction to SmackDown on tonight’s show. In this episode, he’ll be involved with a major Superstar on the brand. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on which top star it will be.
It was noted that several people within WWE told the media out that they have high hopes for Riddle based on his first day there.
