Secret Service Warns Donald Trump After…

According to Newsweek, Slovenian pop star Ben Dolic took to TikTok to mock former first lady Melania Trump, sparking a debate over her attire at Rosalynn Carter’s funeral. The video, shared on November 30, playfully addressed Melania Trump’s fame in Slovenia, stating, “The most famous person in my country is… Melania Trump. If that doesn’t say something about the music industry in Slovenia, I don’t know what will.” While poking fun at the former model, Dolic introduced viewers to some of his favorite Slovenian artists.

Melania Trump, born in Novo Mesto, Yugoslavia (now Slovenia) in 1970, gained fame as a model in Europe before moving to New York in 1996. She married Donald Trump in 2005, becoming the second first lady born overseas when he was elected president in 2016. Despite a humorously informal poll on Straw Poll naming her the “Most Famous Slovenian,” Melania Trump faced low popularity ratings during her husband’s presidency, with a CNN/SSRS poll in 2021 reporting a 42 percent approval rating.

While Dolic’s TikTok video was light-hearted, it added to the ongoing scrutiny of Melania Trump’s public image. Her silence and infrequent public appearances have fueled rumors of marital troubles, though her former aide dismissed such speculation, describing Melania’s public persona as intentionally mysterious and enigmatic.
