Trump recounted a story about how he assured Melania Trump that the claims were false. He described an imaginary scenario where he had been with four individuals and needed to convince his wife of the falsity of the allegations. Trump said, “You think that was good that night? To go up and tell my wife ‘It is not true, darling. I love you very much. It’s not true!’ Actually, that one she didn’t believe because she said ‘He’s a germaphobe, he’s not into that. He is not into golden showers, as they say, they call it. He’s not.’”
