Michael Cole Botches Triple H’s Name On SmackDown

Michael Cole botched Triple H’s nickname on WWE SmackDown, calling him the ‘Game of Games’ instead of ‘King of Kings’ or ‘The Game.’

 


 

AEW is set to expand its television programming with a new weekly show called AEW Collision, which will debut on June 17, 2023, on TNT. According to Dave Meltzer, a renowned wrestling journalist, the first episode of the show will feature the highly anticipated return of former WWE Superstar CM Punk. Meltzer also hinted at the possibility of another major debut or return to take place during the show.

AEW Collision will be airing on Saturdays, while the company’s flagship show Dynamite will continue to air on Wednesdays. The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club are expected to headline Dynamite, while Chris Jericho is rumored to be part of Collision to feud with CM Punk, following their recent meeting to mend fences.

“Along with what is expected to be either another major name debut or return,” Dave wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.”

The decision to schedule AEW Collision on Saturdays was reportedly made to avoid potential conflicts with NBA and NHL playoff games that usually air on Saturdays during the spring. The company’s one-hour Friday night show, AEW Rampage, will continue to air as well.

AEW has been making waves in the wrestling industry since its launch in 2019 and has quickly become a major player. The launch of AEW Collision is a significant step for the company as it expands its television programming. With the return of CM Punk and the possibility of another major debut or return, AEW is certainly keeping its fans excited and eagerly awaiting the new show’s debut.
