Michael Cole is a wrestling commentary veteran who has worked with the WWE for many years. His work has been lauded by fans and wrestling journalists alike, but to err is human. Cole had his botch moment on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
The moment happened during the Cody Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio segment. The NXT North American Champion entered the ring to fans booing him. Rey Mysterio’s son cut his promo on Cody, but he didn’t botch saying anything during that segment. Cody Rhodes had heard enough and took his shot at The Judgement Day member.
Contrary to what one expected, Michael Cole botched and called Dominik a ‘Judgement Gay’ member. While the veteran corrected himself instantly, the damage was already done and fans had taken note of this slip-up. WWE Universe members took to X to share this moment.

Fans called out different things in response to the moment with some informing as being called the same name in college. The wrestling world erupted with their own version of this moment and it was hilarious. It made everything look different and fans dragged the veteran play-by-play commentator in their conversations.
