Former TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James spoke with Scott Fishman of the Miami Herald to discuss her return to Impact Wrestling and more. Down below is an excerpt from the interview about wrestling one more match in TNA:
“I would like to have at least one more match in TNA,” James said. “That was the whole goal. I hope I can have one more match. I want to have lots more matches if that is possible. I have never faced Kong or been in the same ring with her. That is one who I want to work against. I think the girls on NXT now are tearing it up, and I would love to get in the ring with them. I’m open to any competition. I’ve been having matches with Cherry Bomb and Athena on the independent level. It was fun to go out there and get back in the groove and tear it up. We were wrestling 15 to 20 minutes matches. I really wanted to challenge myself against these opponents and the stories we are telling. I’m trying to get back in that ring shape.”
