Miesha Tate, the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion recently opened up on the reports by Ariel Helwani. He took to Twitter and said that the match between Amanda Nunes and Juliana Peña that was scheduled for the co-main event for UFC 265 on August 7 in Houston, Texas has been called off.

Ariel Helwani Tweeted the following:
“Amanda Nunes x Julianna Peña on Aug. 7 is off, per sources. Nunes forced to withdraw. They are hoping to reschedule the bantamweight title bout later this year.”
Tate went on to comment on her rival’s match that was called off. She wrote:
“Damn, that’s the fight game though. Whatever card that is I wanna be on it”

UFC 265 will now move forward with one title fight that will see Derrick Lewis and Cyril Gane clash for the interim heavyweight title.
