Mike Kanellis couldn’t accomplish much during his run with Impact wrestling, though when he made his WWE debuted during a PPV, some people expected him to finally get the spotlight.
However, unfortunately, so far it doesn’t look like WWE has any solid plan for the former Impact Star and all he has done in the company till now is being involved in a seemingly meaningless feud with Sami Zayn.
A fan recently commented on this status of Mike through a tweet saying that he was a joke in Impact Wrestling and now he is a joke in WWE:

The SmackDown Star took notice of his tweet and replied to it, while also taking a shot at his former Employees over their much known financial issues:

Interestingly, his fellow TNA Alumni Matt Hardy couldn’t stop himself from commenting on this matter. He commented on the matter with a tweet of his own saying that it’s ‘Delightful to get your cheque every week’:

It’s worth noting here that while TNA/GFW’s ownership has changed hands their troubles are not over just yet. The company recently cancelled one of their announced Live Events due to the apparent low ticket sales.
