Mike Tyson Admits To Using Two Drugs For Fights

The legendary pro boxer Mike Tyson has been brutal to his opponents inside the ring. He holds an impressive 50-6 record in boxing and destroyed his opponents. He has been an aggressive fighter and put the long hours in the gym. ‘Iron Mike’ had revealed that he only sleeps for four hours. He also went on to reveal his fear. His life has not been smooth as it has been marred with alcohol, drugs, and violence. However, he managed to become the youngest heavyweight champion of the world in boxing. Ahead of fights these days, the legendary boxer fueled up on magic mushrooms and weed, allowing the high to tame his infamous “aggressive” rage in the ring.

Mike Tyson opens up on taking mushrooms and weed

“I like taking mushrooms and smoking before fighting. I take psychedelics every day, mushrooms,” Tyson, 56, explained to Muscle and Health Magazine this week.

Tyson was spotted in public this week while out in New York City. But, the sights had raised concerns for the fans as he needed a cane to get around. ‘Iron Mike’ has reportedly been dealing with a “sciatica flare-up” in his back. He was recently pictured in a wheelchair at Miami International Airport on Tuesday.

He talked about physical wellness and Tyson told Muscle and Health that weed is his cure-all before working up a sweat.

“Cannabis is good to workout on for me. I just wish I was smoking back when I was fighting — I really lost out there from an athlete’s perspective. If I’d smoked during my boxing career, I probably wouldn’t have been so aggressive,” he continued.

Tyson’s latest outing when he was assisted in a wheelchair by an airport employee came exactly three weeks after he was seen moving gingerly while out in New York City.

The boxing legend was filmed making his way from a car to his hotel room, using what appeared to be the same walking stick he held in Miami. At the time, TMZ reported that it was “nothing serious. Just an occupational hazard for an athlete like Mike.” Sources close to Mike told the outlet that he hasn’t suffered any new injuries and he is just working through a little bit of an old back issue.
