Cube, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson Sr, was recently a guest on the ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’ podcast hosted by ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet‘ himself. Moreover, former Los Angeles Lakers small forward, Matt Barnes, was present as the co-host for the episode.

The trio was seen speaking about a series of diverse topics from the hip-hop industry to recent controversies. Tyson’s questions further transitioned into the recent controversy involving Ye. And Ice Cube surely had a few choice words to say about it. In conversation, Barnes mentioned:

“You’ve been someone who has been a free thinker and free speaker your entire career. And that’s what to me, make you one of the greatest of late, you know.”

Tyson then told his audience about Ye dragging Cube’s name into the controversy, and asked Cube his thoughts.

In response, Cube said:

“You know when somebody turn it out. When a n***a turned the party out. And say that he did it coz of you. You got to say something about that, you know what I’m saying. It’s like homie, nah, nah. You got to stand on this on your own. That’s you bro.”

Moreover, Cube also had a few choice words for Ye. He said:

“I didn’t say nothing. It’s just that at the end of the day, I just had to let everybody know. That you know, don’t blame me. Talk your sh*t if you want to. But don’t blame me for sh*t. “
