Mike Tyson is most definitely one of the most legendary professional boxers in the history of the sport. Triller’s latest event featured Evander Holyfield squaring off against Vitor Belfort and getting knocked out in over a minute within the first round. Due to the match’s reception, new regulations will be imposed and that includes banning exhibition matches. Due to this, Mike Tyson and Holyfield may be banned from Triller.
According to Mirror, Mike Tyson has recently admitted he was under the influence of psychedelic drugs when he decided to return to the ring. Tyson retired from professional boxing in 2005 after quitting on his stool at the end of the sixth round of his 58th fight against Kevin McBride. He then faced off against Roy Jones Jr 15 years later in 2020 in a return match.
The undercard of the event also featured Jake Paul vs Nate Robinson. Tyson talked about having drugs that influenced his return.
“I did this toad, this DMT stuff and I lost the weight. I don’t know what happened, I just said I’m going to do this. I did this toad and I said, you’ve got to do this… you have to do that [and] I lost the weight.”
Tyson was referring to the act of inhaling the toxic vapours of specific breeds of toads
