MITB Match to be aired in parts throughout the PPV

WWE Money In The Bank will be taking place this Sunday and it will be different from previous iterations. It will be a race up the corporate ladder, with the MITB ladder matches being cinematic in nature.

The footage for both the MITB matches will not be more than an hour. The company also plans on dividing the match into parts and airing it throughout the event.

During PW Insider Elite audio, Mike Johnson talked about WWE’s current plans for the pay-per-view. Johnson compared the concept to an Impact episode that had a brawl lasting for an hour.

He said that the beginning of the match would be shown and then the plan is to cut back to the live matches in the Performance Center while picture-in-picture scenes of the Money In The Bank match will be inserted, allowing a whole story to be shown of how the participants fought up through the building. The entire match will not be shown in one segment so as to entertain viewers throughout the entire broadcast.

He said that this was also comparable to what WWE did with the Back Lot Brawl between Roddy Piper and Goldust at WrestleMania 12. We will have to see how they execute the matches.
