MJF fires more shots at Jon Moxley – “I’m not a guy who was a top guy elsewhere”

AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio show. MJF would discuss a number of topics from his recent career with the TNT based brand; including his recent promo on Dynamite where he issued a challenge to AEW Champion Jon Moxley.

MJF confirmed on Dynamite that we wants a shot at the All Elite Wrestling Champion, specifically at ALL OUT. The next PPV event for AEW will be taking place on Saturday September 5th and will be available to watch on FITE TV.

“That’s precisely what I did this week [on Dynamite]” MJF began on Busted Open, discussing how he is now ‘taking someone’s spot’ to get on Dynamite. “So, the auditory speech that I gave? It will go down in history as a career defining moment, and as a defining moment in the history of All Elite Wrestling. Because what I did? It was a real paradigm shift, not a fake one. I caused a real paradigm shift. I wasn’t a guy who was a top guy elsewhere, I’m a guy who BECAME a top guy inside of my company, a company that I’m so proud to be a part of.”

It has not yet been confirmed if MJF will get his shot at the AEW Championship in September, although it does appear as though that show will be headlined by Moxley vs MJF for the title. It’s likely that the match will be confirmed in the coming weeks as the company heads to ALL OUT.
