Monday Night RAW Results for 8/15/16

Here are the results for the 8/15/16 edition of Monday Night RAW:

  • We open with a pre recorded video of Seth Rollins outside of the arena calling out ‘The Demon King’ Finn Balor. Nothing happens and Rollins says that if ‘The Demon King’ doesn’t come to him, then he’s going to find him himself.

  • Back live in the arena Rusev and Lana are in the ring and refuse to leave unless Roman Reigns apologizes to them for what he did last week. Mick Foley comes out to the ring without a mic and can be heard telling Rusev to leave because they have matches to get done. Rusev tells Foley he sucks and that Reigns does not deserve a shot at his United States Title. Rusev calls out Stephanie McMahon to the ring and out she comes to hit the ring with Mick. Rusev says he knows Stephanie will understand because she is married to a great superstar. Stephanie says how dare he disrespect Mick Foley, who has given his life to the company, and that Rusev doesn’t deserve respect after disrespecting Mick. Rusev threatens to call up Shane and Daniel Bryan because they appreciate talent and Roman Reigns’ music hits. Reigns says if an apology will end everything then he is sorry. He is sorry that Rusev came across the website he met Lana on and that when they ‘bump uglies’ that they will make some ugly Sasquatch babies. Reigns says he doesn’t want to wait until SummerSlam to fight. Stephanie says the match won’t happen until SummerSlam but Rusev interrupts and says he wants to defend his wife’s honor. Foley makes the match official, Roman Reigns vs Rusev to defend Lana’s honor will be tonight.

  • Sami Zayn def. Sheamus after interference from Cesaro who sat at ringside during the match. Sheamus was setting up for the Brouge Kick but was distracted after Cesaro jumped onto the canvas. Zayn took advantage by hitting Sheamus with the Helluva Kick for the win.

  • We come back from break and referees are backstage keeping Sheamus and Cesaro away from each other. Foley comes in and says he will not have them interfering in each other’s matches. Foley announces a best of seven series between the two men starting at SummerSlam

  • The New Day hit the ring for a match with The Dudley Boyz but Dr. Gallows and Dr. Anderson interrupt on the titantron. and put Big E’s ‘balls’ in the microwave.

  • The New Day def. The Dudleyz after the Dudleyz had a miscommunication.

  • Back from break we have Seth Rollins backstage searching for ‘The Demon King’. Rollins approaches Neville who tells him he isn’t ready for The Demon.

  • Nia Jax def. Rachel Levy in a squash match for the win

  • Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman hit the ring and before Heyman even finishes his sentence, Heath Slater interrupts. Slater says he is the hottest free agent in sports entertainment and that he knew he had to come to Heyman. Heyman has a riot with it and laughs uncontrollably. Slater says he has another opportunity to join RAW and make a SummerSlam appearance if he takes on Brock Lesnar. He asks if he can go one-on-one with Brock Lesnar. Heyman tells Slater to get lost and resumes his plug for SummerSlam. Slater screams and tells him not to disrespect him and that his kids are counting on him. Slater says he knows Brock will whoop his ass but he needs to do it. Brock grabs the mic and says he can appreciate that and says Heath has guts. Brock invites Heath into the ring and says lets talk about his kids. Brock then says he doesn’t give a sh** about Slater’s kids. He says Heath has two options, he can leave on his own two feet or stand there and continue pissing Brock off. Brock then takes Slater to Suplex City and finishes him off with an F-5. Heyman rejoins the ring and is wearing Slater’s sun glasses. Heyman goes on to deliver a great promo to hype Lesnar’s SummerSlam bout against SummerSlam, and we go to commercial.

  • Big Cass vs Kevin Owens ends in a DQ after Jericho attacks Cass during the match. Jericho had previously took Enzo out of the equation outside the ring, and Owens hit Cass with a Super Kick followed up by a Code Breaker from Jericho to put Cass down.

  • Backstage Rusev attacks Roman Reigns who is being interviewed by Tom Phillips. Officials come out to separate the two men.

  • The Shinning Stars def. The Prime Time Players (who reunited on the RAW pre-show) after Darren Young accidentally knocked O’Neil off the apron.

  • Neville def. Jinder Mahal

  • Backstage Seth Rollins joins Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley. Rollins says since he can’t find ‘The Demon King’ anywhere he thinks he deserves the night off. Foley says he can have the night off if he calls out ‘The Demon King’ from the ring first. Foley asks Rollins if he’s too scared to do it but Rollins says he isn’t afraid of anything and makes his way to the ring as we go to break.

  • Rollins is in the ring and says that it doesn’t matter if ‘The Demon King’ shows up to SummerSlam because nobody can touch him. ‘The Demon King’s’ music hits and Balor makes his chilling entrance to the ring. Rollins and Balor face off for a brief moment before the two men exchange. Balor gets the upper hand in the exchange and Rollins retreats to the back as Balor stands in the ring celebrating.

  • Gallows and Anderson def. The Golden Truth. After the match The New Day attacked Gallows and Anderson.

  • Charlotte def. Alecia Fox with Natural Selection after a back and forth match, with Sasha Banks at ringside. After the match Sasha Banks hits the ring but Dana Brooks comes out of nowhere to attack Banks. Charlotte puts Banks in the Figure Eight while Brooks holds off officials. A referee finally gets in and breaks it up. Charlotte celebrates as the fans boo.

  • Roman Reigns def. Rusev in a great back-and-forth main event with a Spear. Reigns celebrates on the turnbuckle as we go off air

  • Mister Who

Boo-man Reigns you still suck, WWE does not feel the same and does not feel fun

  • D2K

The Slater/Lesnar segment was a little funny, but kind of out of place. Strange that they would use up one of his coveted appearances for Heath Slater. I know they have to hype SummerSlam but it didn’t really do that.

  • Kristopher Robinson

That’s actually didn’t sound to bad. Sounds like some good back and forth matches. And I wanna see Ownens hit the codebreaker!
