We noted before how Bray Wyatt was being advertised to challenge the Universal Champion at the upcoming Hell In a Cell PPV after Clash of Champions.
Since such advertisements are often fillers until the original plan is revealed, people thought that the bout might not take place but latest reports suggest otherwise.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the advertised match is the real plan for the show and Wyatt is indeed going to challenge whoever is the Universal Champion
“I should point out that usually in this situation it’s just filler to advertise something to sell tickets. This is not the case here. The real plan at this point is for Wyatt to headline the show and challenge for the Universal title.”
Braun Strowman is set to challenge Seth Rollins for the Universal Title at the upcoming PPV and its speculated that Wyatt could interfere in the bout to set up the mentioned match.
