More on Vince McMahon sending stars back to Performance Center

The reports of Vince McMahon being unhappy with the working ability of several talents made a lot of headlines and created buzz among fans earlier month.

The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provides some update on the situation and sheds some more light on Vince McMahon’s mindset behind the decision to send several stars back to Performance Center.

According to Dave Meltzer, part of the reason behind such order is the low ratings WWE has been encountering recently because Vince McMahon believes that they don’t have big guys that can work on the main event level:

“Part of it is Vince wants more monsters in the ring, as historically whenever WWE business is bad, Vince blames smaller guys on top, but right now, his thought process is he doesn’t have big guys who can work at that level,”

Otis, Keith Lee, Dabbo Kato, Omos and Mace are the names who have been ordered to take classes at the Performance Center and they are reportedly being trained by Adam Pearce and Drew Gulak as coaches.
