More stars removed from WrestleMania

We noted before how Roman Reigns decided to pull out of WrestleMania and latest reports have revealed several more names which were removed from the show.

Orange County officials had issued a ‘stay at home’ mandate which forced WWE to tape their shows in advance and the company completed the tapings for WrestleMania by Thursday night.

However, PWinsider is reporting that the current United States Champion Andrade was not cleared to compete on the PPV event because he suffered a rib injury.

He suffered the injury in his tag match on this week’s episode of Raw and he was replaced by Austin Theory in his tag team match at the PPV event. Theory teamed up with Angel Garza to challenge the Street Profits for Raw tag team championship.

Murphy was another man who was removed from the show because he was “not cleared to appear,” but there is no detail on the reason behind it.

The Miz was likely removed from the show after the incident with Roman Reigns as well which forced the company to change the plans for SmackDown Tag team championships.

Miz and John Morrison were scheduled to defend their championship against the Usos and New Day at the event and it would be interesting to see how the company handled this situation.
