On this week’s episode of SmackDown, multiple glitches appeared before or after a few segments. It was a circular symbol made up of small bright lights and that led to multiple speculations.
This symbol showed up during a backstage segment involving Mandy Rose, during Elias’ entrance and also during the eight-man tag team match. Some fans believe that this might be a teaser for the debut of the recently signed Killer Kross while others believe these are teasers for Mustafa Ali’s return.

Rumors have suggested that the company is looking to “fast-track” Killer Kross’ run. Meaning, the Superstar might get to skip NXT and land in the main-roster directly.
However, a strong case could be made for this being a sign of Mustafa Ali as well. The SmackDown Superstar hasn’t been used on TV in quite some time and this could be the perfect return for him.
Or it could be a completely different person who the company is trying to tease fans with.
Either way, cryptic teasers are always exciting as they led to a lot many speculations. The pay-off for these images will be interesting to see and we hope that we get an answer very soon.
