WWE has released this week’s NXT Injury Report and has confirmed that multiple Superstars have sustained injury coming out of this week’s episode of NXT. The list includes some of NXT’s top up and coming Superstars which could be a matter of concern.
Io Shirai faced off against old nemesis Toni Storm in singles action on this week’s NXT. However, after the match, a brawl broke out between Shirai, Storm, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley. In this brawl, Shirai is said to have “tweaked” her knee.
Shirai was hence sent to get an MRI and will continue receiving evaluations. Her status is currently listed as “day-to-day”.
Furthermore, Shotzi Blackheart faced off against Shayna Baszler on this week’s NXT in a losing effort. After the match, Blackheart was attacked by Deonna Purrazzo in a backstage segment.
After the said attack, Blackheart complained of having shoulder and back pain. Her status is currently listed as “day-to-day”
Up and coming Superstar Jaoquin Wilde faced off against Finn Balor on this week’s episode of NXT but was quickly defeated by Balor. After the match, Wilde was said to have been suffering from rib and lower neck pain and hence will be sent for an evaluation to ensure that no rib has been broken in his body.
