Mustafa Ali cuts a cryptic promo as the leader of RETRIBUTION

In a shocking turn of events, Mustafa Ali was revealed to be the leader of the vigilante faction RETRIBUTION on last week’s episode of RAW.

WWE posted a tweet today, giving the fans a sneak peek into the events of this week’s episode of RAW. It is going to be the second night of this year’s WWE Draft. In the list was the name of Mustafa Ali and he is set to address the virtual crowd of The ThunderDome on Monday for the first time since the big reveal.

Mustafa Ali and RETRIBUTION in WWE

The group had been wreaking havoc on the main roster for weeks, breaking sets and beating up Superstars. The members finally signed contracts with WWE last month and their names were revealed, but not their actual identities.

However, anyone closely following the NXT brand could easily identify the stars to be Dominik Dijakovic (T-Bar), Dio Maddin (Mace), Shane Thorne (Slapjack), and Mia Yim (Reckoning). Mercedes Martinez was also part of the squad, but recent reports say she has made her way back to the black-and-gold roster.

Mustafa Ali was revealed to be the leader of RETRIBUTION during his match against MVP of The Hurt Business last Monday. The group surrounded the ring as the match was progressing, and for a minute it seemed like Ali might team up with The Hurt Business.

But it became apparent soon that it is Ali who was in charge of RETRIBUTION, as he ordered the group to attack MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin. Ali has been tweeting in character ever since, and so has the other members of the group.

Following WWE’s tweet about the RAW lineup, Ali cut a promo with yet another cryptic tweet, hyping up his segment for Monday.

A No DQ match between Kevin Owens, a Women’s dual-brand Battle Royal, and Monday Night Messiah’s farewell is also lined up for Monday. Seth Rollins has been drafted to SmackDown, along with his former disciple Murphy. Rey and Dominik Mysterio, with whom he is currently feuding, have also been drafted to the Blue brand.
