There were a lot of reactions to the 41-year-old’s AEW debut. Naomi tweeted to express her delight at seeing him back in action:

“so happy bro is back! Whew Chills”

Claudio was revealed as the replacement of Bryan Danielson for the match against Zack Sabre Jr. at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door. ‘The Swiss Cyborg’ was one of the last people Danielson worked with in WWE and has been praised multiple times by the featured member of The Blackpool Combat Club. We had reported how he had been training for a return. Claudio has a history with Sabre Jr, as the two wrestled an Iron Man match in Westside Xtreme Wrestling. Danielson had stated on Dynamite that whoever his replacement will be the newest member of The Blackpool Combat Club.

Speaking about Naomi, alongside Sasha Banks, had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building. It was speculated that Banks and Naomi reportedly won’t be fired.
