Nate Diaz might join BKFC

In an interview with Curran Bhatia, Feldman was asked about the likelihood of Diaz fighting in the BKFC, to which he replied:

“I hope so. I do hope so. They’re still inside the re-negotiation window with the UFC right now… But if he does become a free agent outside of this window, we will probably end up grabbing him because I think we’re going to pay him what we think he’s worth and he’s worth more to us than he is to another organization.”

Nate Diaz faced Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 in the last fight of his contract. The Stockton slugger opted against re-signing with the world’s premier MMA organization, and after a three-month exclusive re-negotiation period, he will be free to join other organizations.

Meanwhile, Feldman revealed when fans can expect Paige VanZant to return to action. The UFC star turned bare-knuckle fighter was scheduled to fight Charisa Sigala at Bare Knuckle FC 27 in August. However, ’12 Guage’ missed the event after she was told “logistical issues” led to her fight being canceled.

Feldman was asked when VanZant could make her much-anticipated comeback and the BKFC president revealed that plans are in place to have her compete at Knuck Mania 3 early next year.

“She’ll fight February 27th for the Knuckle Mania 3 card… That one will take place in New Mexico. So that’s gonna be a great card.”
