Neville close to returning to in-ring action

It’s been almost a year since we have seen, or even heard from, former WWE superstar, Neville. Most of us have been wondering when we would see him in the ring again, especially since it was reported that WWE had finally released him from his contract a month ago. Well, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that time is rapidly approaching.

According to Meltzer, Neville has been contacted by several independent promotions interested in bringing in one of the biggest free agents in the wrestling world. Neville informed the promotions he was unable to accept dates right now, but that he would be doing so very soon.

Many wrestlers on the independent scene have mentioned recently that they are very interested in working with the former two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion, including the leader of the Firing Squad in New Japan, Toma Tonga.

When and where Neville shows up on the indie scene has been a huge talking point among wrestling fans for months now. The fact he has said absolutely nothing about his release from WWE makes it even more interesting, and hopefully we get some answers from the man himself soon.
