New details on Brock Lesnar’s contract, when can he return to UFC

There has been some confusion over Brock Lesnar’s current WWE contract ever since UFC President Dana White said that his deal expires in August next year unlike the previous reports of it expiring in April, shortly after WrestleMania.

Now the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter has cleared this confusion revealing that his contract will actually expire at the time of WrestleMania 34.

Though according to the Newsletter, even if Brock does not sign a new deal with WWE next year, the company has certain rights with Lesnar which will block him from working for UFC until the first week of August.

Furthermore, it’s being said that the current contract of the Beast also includes an option which can allow WWE to renew his contract when it expires though no further details were given about it.

As we noted before, WWE is not very likely to let Brock fight for UFC again while he is still under contract, which means even if Lesnar wants to return to the MMA world, the earliest possible date for it would be in August next year.
