It was recently announced that Jarome Young, known to wrestling fans as New Jack passed away due to a heart attack at the age of fifty-seven. During one of his most recent interviews prior to his passing, New Jack touched on his relationship with Terri Runnels, the former wife of Dustin ‘Goldust’ Rhodes. The two dated in 2009 with Young going to court with Runnels where a Florida judge ordered Young to stop selling nude photographs of the ex-WWE star. New Jack: We dated for a year and a half and that’s it. I know that people got mad about it – they were like ‘how did he get that girl?’ I know people were pissed off about it but it lasted about a year and a half and it went away.
Jack would then elaborate on why he believes people are/were pissed about New Jack dating Runnels: “Come on man, there’s this chick, this family chick who has a daughter and she ‘s supposedly wholesome but she’s foolish. The fans were like: “how did New Jack get her’ and they were hating me – hating me for it. I thought it was the funniest shit in the world. I’m not gonna talk bad about her, I could but I’m not. We were in a relationship for a year and a half, it didn’t work and we parted ways.
