Pat McAfee faced off against Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: XXX. Adam Cole ended up winning the match despite McAfee’s best efforts. It seems their feud is not finished yet.
Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong were set to challenge Breezango for the NXT Tag Team Championships on this week’s NXT. However, Fish was attacked backstage before the match and was unable to compete.
Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan ended up taking the Undisputed Era’s spot. NXT ended with an NXT Tag Team Title match as planned.
When all was said and done, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan defeated Breezango and became the new NXT Tag Team Champions. During the match, a hooded man with a metal mask covering his face entered the ring and helped them win.
The man then unmasked himself, revealing him to be Pat McAfee. He said “that is undisputed” as the show went off the air.
