At this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, a group of hooded Superstars caused all kinds of troubles with the production of the show. At the end of the show, they lit up a generator on fire to make their presence felt.
WWE had announced the arrival of this faction in advance and a report suggested that the company’s social media team might have jumped the gun with the announcement.
Either way, the faction is here and the company has now revealed their official name.
WWE took to their official Twitter handle to reveal that the members of the new faction are calling themselves “RETRIBUTION”.

Many fans drew comparisons between RETRIBUTION and ANTIFA on Twitter but the company has stated that the faction is exclusive to WWE and in no way involved with real-world politics.
