New WWE stage designs apparently to have ‘Attitude Era feel’

The same stages have been used by WWE for quite some time now and it seems that that might be changing soon enough as WWE is apparently working to make a change to the stage design.

According to Brad Shepard on Oh, You Didn’t Know, WWE has plans to bring new stage designs. Apparently, the stage designs will be similar to the Attitude Era and this might bring back fans from that era.

Shepard says that he was told the new stage designs will have Attitude Era feel to them as they will be very bold and essentially 3D. They will somewhat “in your face.”

It will be interesting to see these changes being implemented.

Get rid of the PG and maybe we’ll talk.

    WWE donates millions to charity.
AEW is donating a portion of the gate for an event that’s sold less than 4000 tickets, and giving the show away for free on B/R Live. The charity was getting their money the same even if literally nobody watched the show online. What’s WWE going to do? Un-sell AEW’s tickets somehow?

If harming charity work is the problem, everyone who wants WWE out of business is guilty of far worse.

Because you have people working for you with little? No… zero… creative ability for the capacity to bring on something original. Your creative team, sucks! Leave the Attitude Era, alone and make something original so your audience can compare the two and debate in the future how both could be compared.

They need to bring back the Smacdown fist ha ha

I think he was more disgusted WWE would try to compete with a charity event. Nothing is too low for WWE to stoop to

  • Grant Thomson

Too bad the storylines will still have the “Vince McMahon” feel

  • Keith Learmonth

Based on Kenny Omega’s freak out about WWE counterprogramming an event (with an event that’s not even the developmental territory), I’d say that AEW fears Vince, too.

  • Keith Learmonth

I agree that saying “they’ll be 3D” is a stupid statement, but I think the context is more like, “The stages will have parts that stick out, instead of just being a pair of big, basically flat screens”

  • StoneColdBeckyLynch

    Vince fears AEW

  • Brandon

he says the same stages have been used for quite some time now. Its only been 3 years since they changed them. Not long.

Fix your storyline and character development

  • CC

Changing the stage will not bring people back. That is an absolutely ridiculous thing to think or say.
And also, last time I looked, all stages are 3D .. that’s how the real world works.

They need to make sure that the Raw and Smackdown sets are very different from one another and they don’t just use the Raw set for PPVs.

LOL… they need to do more than change the stage!
